Holiday Inn & Suites Siracha Laemchabang, an IHG Hotel

Its a shame. The service at the restarunt is not the same. First off all i came to check in around 9:30 A.M and i was hungry so i ask the front desk if i can eat first and check in later. The front desk contact the restaurant to tell them i want to eat. When i got there the first thing the worker saied to me is that they are closing in 19 minits and she showed me the time. Not the bast welcoming for anyone. I was in stress to finish my food becase off it. So you pay 500 thb and they have no problem charging you for it, and more then that they will make you uncomfterble becase they are sapouse to clase at 10. So its my falt that i came 19 minits to eat before they close. In addition to that the eags were cold. After brakfast i went to do check in and then went to the pool. Everytime i wanted to order somthing at the pool, i needed to get up and go to ask for what i want. No one is even looking for the costomer. Lunch time we went to eat again at the restaurant with the family. Again i needed to get up to order everytime someone needed or wanted somthing. The service has chainged a lot from the last time i was there and not for good. The front desk service is very good. They surprise us with a cake after i explaind everything that happened at the restaurant. I expact much more from holiday inn and its a shame to have this service. There is a smoking area at the entrence off the hotel with ashtrays that no one clears. The entrence smells like a cigarette . Even smokers were standing at the side and not next to everything derty. The manegmant is not the same from the last time i was there and i do not think i will go back there. By the way if you dont care about that they have beutiful cleen rooms and the bed is one off the bast. Good luck to the new costomers.

We stayed during 27 - 28 Dec 2023 by using IHG points. Staff at the check-in and at restaurant (8th fl) were amazing. They were friendly and helpful. As IHG platinum member, we got upgraded to suite room and got all eligible benefits. The staff also prepared a birthday cake (chocolate mousse cake) in the room with some fruits which was very thoughtful. **Suite Room (Room No. 2015)** Nice clean and comfortable. The bed and pillows are super comfortable. However, the TV in the living room kept turning itself on so it might need a little maintenance. There aren't many movies channels to watch. The A/C works fine. There is a kitchenette with microwave oven, 2 fridges, sink, electric stove and washing machine (outside). **บุฟเฟ่ข้าวต้ม boiled rice buffet ** Every Sun - Thu, they offer boiled rice buffet at only THB 399 / person. Very good variety of dishes to go with the boiled rice, DIY spicy salad, japanese curry, indian food and dessert. The overall taste wasn't outstanding (japanese curry was very light, the spicy salad dressing was spicy but bland). The boiled rice wasn't hot at first but the staff fixed it afterwards. The pendan steamed custard was super yummy though. Overall, still good value. **Breakfast** We were a bit disappointed that there was no bacon at the buffet line. Overall was good. The restaurant tends to get really busy and crowded at around 9.

Mismatched Alarm Clock Settings and Inconsistent Services Between the Front Office and The Hub Bar It may just be my unfortunate experience, but I recently stayed at Holiday Inn & Suites Siracha Laemchabang from October 25-27, 2023, and again from October 29-31, 2023. The first issue was the alarm clock in my room going on at 5:25 am and 5:30 am daily, even though I hadn't set it. It likely remained set from the previous guest. Despite informing the Front Office and requesting their help to turn it off, my request was overlooked, affecting my sleep during the first part of my stay. However, with the assistance of the Duty Manager during my second stay, the alarm clock was removed from my room as I requested. This resolution was truly commendable and helped alleviate my concerns. The second issue, initially perceived as minor, turned out to be a matter of principle. When I checked in, I received a complimentary drink voucher as part of the Diamond Elite Member benefits. The Front Office staff informed me I could exchange it for any drink, including certain cocktails. Yet, when I attempted to redeem it at The Hub Bar, I was told it didn't cover cocktails but mocktails were available. Intriguingly, during a previous stay (before October 25-27, 2023), I recall using a similar voucher for a cocktail without any issues. This inconsistency made me feel I was not receiving the same standard of service as before, even though my membership status remained unchanged and IHG made no announcements about any reduced benefits. Regarding the room and dining experience, I have no complaints. However, the lack of understanding among hotel staff regarding member benefits is disappointing. If I hadn't raised concerns, I wouldn't have received any compensation.
